The Coquitlam Sports Hall of Fame is looking for a few good athletes, teams, builders or volunteers.
The deadline is April 9 to nominate members of the city’s sporting committee for recognition of their accomplishments over several years in the Hall, or for a significant achievement in 2018 to be noted on the Wall.
Nominators should provide a list of those accomplishments for an individual or team that is identified with Coquitlam as a member of the community, raised in the city, resided in the city for a considerable length of time or contributed to an organization or team based in the city.
To submit a nominee, go to www.coquitlamshof.com and then scroll under either the Hall or Wall tabs for the appropriate form. Nominations can also be submitted by mail to: Coquitlam Sports Hall of Fame, 1450 Hartley Ave., PO Box 1212, Coquitlam, BC V3J 1S0.
The 2019 class of Hall inductees and Wall honourees will be announced in May, and formally installed in mid-June.
